The declassing of the Giant.

AC Milan's captain Leonardo Bonucci consoling Gianluigi  Donnarumma as fans draw huge banner insulting the goalkeeper. With practically no surprise, AC Milan faced another thumping loss to newly promoted team Hellas Verona who are sitting in the relegation zone. The humiliating  3-0 loss  continued to throw salt in the wounds of players, coaches, staff and above all the fans. Fans have shown that they are quite frankly fed up of the team's performances and results and they pretend that results will be coming their team's way as soon as possible. Problems also seem to have been arising internally in the team's structure. The club's quite new owner and President who took over the team last April, is looking for other major stakeholders to again takeover the team. Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi were among the goal scorers in this game. On Saturday night, Torino and Atalanta drew 1-1 in a very tight game were both opponents are of the same level and therefore the result was a just one. Sunday afternoon began with a bang as newly promoted team Benevento won their first point ever in Serie A at home against AC Milan....

However, no such topic could beat my perennial love for football or as known by Canadians and Americans, soccer. My love for the game was triggered by my uncle who supports AC Milan, a team based in Italy. Growing up in the golden age of this team it was inevitable that I would stick to this team my whole life. My father who supports Juventus, was not particularly impressed by the decision I made, however after many disputes he had to accept it. Nowadays, we can't wait for those two weekends in the football season when our two teams meet in one of the biggest match-ups in world football. My love for the national team was clearly expected as Italy have won 4 World Cups and their trophy history is im...
